Our Money Story

As West End navigates stewardship this year, we're engaging in what is called money narrative work.

Inside all of us are narratives about money, and because those narratives begin very early in our lives, they often shape what we believe God thinks about money. Our money narratives inevitably emerge during stewardship, both as we are invited to give gifts and as we extend invitations for gifts. Stewardship, like all that we do, is ministry, and we want it to be a life-giving practice.

To support our money narrative work, we're sharing Our Money Story, a stewardship study journal co-created by our consulting team at Vandersall Collective. This is a four-week reflection process we will do as a community:

  • Week 1: Remember

  • Week 2: Release

  • Week 3: Reimagine

  • Week 4: Restore

We will be distributing journals in the Sanctuary starting April 14.
