During Worship

Church School

Young children ages 3 to 6th grade need a special place where they can meet and worship God. Immediately following the Children's Message every Sunday, kids are invited downstairs until the end of worship.  More details available here.

Midweek Services

We offer midweek services that provide sacred space to nourish the soul. These services include sung prayers, beautiful music, a time of silence, spoken and silent prayers, and the opportunity for individual prayer. This style of worship comes from the Taizé community in France.

Taizé Candlelight Services meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Taizé is a place to which visitors of all ages and backgrounds come to participate in gatherings of prayer and reflection. Through the use of chant, worshipers from diverse religious backgrounds are able to participate immediately.

É from West End will be available, virtually -  Our weekly Taizé service will be a little shorter than usual (30 minutes) but will include music, readings, poetry, candle lighting, silent meditation & prayers. Join Cynthia live at the piano!

This week (May 27) we will be worshipping together with one of our Taizé services from our archive found HERE. We invite you to enter into prayer, song and silence with the understanding that by revisiting well-trod forms of worship we reinscribe the words and spirit on our bodies. Through repetitive prayer and worship we uncover a deeper understanding of ourselves. We will be back with live Taizé next week, Wednesday 6/3 at 6:30 PM, see you then!
