Love Can Change the World

Mark 10:14-16

But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

This Sunday is Youth Sunday! Our Friday night ministry, Kids' Club, will be sharing some of our favorite songs with you, including this song from an old friend of mine:

Love can change the world! Is it so naive that something as simple as love could change this world? Could a little childlike faith in greater things actually turn wars around? This song dares to dream bigger: bigger than violence, bigger than wealth, bigger than a soapbox.

Our Kids' Club children have created their own movements to this song and if they aren't too embarrassed, they are going to share them with you on Sunday. May we welcome them with enthusiasm and wonder. May we never stop dreaming of a better world.
