We Remember

There are certain days I have marked on my calendar that represent my loved ones who have died and gone on to glory. Their presence lives in the stories and pictures I share with my living loved ones. Sometimes the days come and go and sometimes the days are very hard and I feel sad all day, even in my gratitude for the person I love.

I have rituals on those days to help me remember the person I miss; light a candle, say a prayer, write in my journal, call a family member and cry or share stories. Our loved ones will never be forgotten. In Hebrews 12:1 it says we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. The dead and the living join together and surround us with love.

This Sunday we have a special service where we will remember our deceased loved ones. It is All Saints Sunday. We have a ritual of honoring the deceased by creating a bouquet of flowers to represent the loved ones who we miss. It is a day of hope and remembrance.

Please consider joining us this Sunday at 11:00 AM as we remember the everyday saints in our prayers and gather together in the love of our community to experience the warmth of hope.
