The yoga class, taught by a member of the congregation, meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
The
Network of Biblical Storytellers is an informal bible study that meets throughout the year to learn from memory scriptures from the Bible. Our mission is to encourage everyone to learn and tell biblical stories. At the meetings, you will hear the story, explore it together, then tell the story again as we share it together.
West End offer a special opportunity for those who are gifted at caring for others to use their talents to help those in our church family in need of support. The
Stephen Ministries is a national program that trains and supports volunteers who provide spiritual care for people in difficult situations.
Kids' Club meets every Friday night from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. We provide a safe place for fun and fellowship, pizza and play. We do lots of "fun" stuff, including ice-skating, bowling, overnights, and rehearsals for Christmas pageant. This club is for kids in second grade through eighth grade. Friends are welcome.

West End offers a free after-school one-on-one
tutoring program for children with reading needs. Training programs for tutors are held once or twice a year and are taught by a professional educator using a multi-sensory reading program developed for specific reading needs.
A five-day a week, half-day program for children who are three and four. See the

The
Vacation Bible School is held the last week in August for first through eighth graders. The program is a performing arts-oriented camp where a new Bible story is learned each day. Through the five-day curriculum, children learn storytelling, singing, drama, dance, and arts and crafts.
The
Reading Group meets once a month on Friday evenings, discussing books chosen prior to each meeting and enjoying refreshments. The Reading Group will reconvene in October. We have not yet established the date or location, but we have chosen to read
FLUDD by Hilary Mantel. The book can be purchased new for $14 from Amazon.com. Cheaper used copies are also available.
During special church seasons, members and friends of the congregation participate in praying for one another.
Periodically, we have support groups for persons are in a time of bereavement and loss. The groups are facilitated by a professional bereavement coordinator and are held weekly for eight weeks.
At various times throughout the year, members explore issues of peace and justice in the world and work on ways to enact measures to impact on various situations.
