Educational & Fellowship

We value the friendships we share, so we provide many opportunities for people to enjoy time together.

Communion Sunday Lunch

Communion Sundays at noon we host a lunch to give everyone an opportunity to meet new people and deepen existing friendships. The cost is $5 per person or $15 for a family.
Please join us, weekly, in the parlor after worship for coffee and donuts.

Book Club

On Friday, December 14 at 7 p.m. The Book Club will discuss Full Bloom by Janet Evanovitch and Charlotte Hughes.

Pub Theology

Pub Theology is a mid-week, monthly happening.  You are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in The Dublin House Pub (225 West 79th Street) as we talk about faith, get to know one another, and discover what it means to belong.  Bring your questions and bring your prayers as we gather in Christian community over a beer, cocktail, soda, or glass of water.

Yoga classes with Lisa Shelle-Delossantos is on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the common area outside of Rooms 4, 5, and 6.  All are welcome.  Mats are provided.  Please come dressed appropriately.

For adults: The Adult Christian Education class is a time to discuss, share, and question those faith traditions we hold in common, as well as explore our individual faith journeys. Classes meet Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in Room 6.
We explore the themes and texts for each Sunday's sermon.  This exercise will enable us to go deeper into the topic and leave the class with something to talk about as a community of faith. Join us in Room 6.

DURING THE FOUR SUNDAYS OF ADVENT, ALL AGES are invited to join together with Rebecca for an interactive exploration into the story of Advent.  We will be singing, moving, and making art.  This is a collaborative effort between FCY ministries and the Adult Education class. We will meet at 9:45 a.m. in Rooms 1 & 2.
